TrastFul was built specifically to handle sensitive financial information. Privacy and security are not features added later - they are the foundation the platform is built on.
Your bank statements are never stored
When you connect your bank, we read your transaction history to build your financial overview, then discard it immediately. We store only the summary - income, spending patterns, and balance health. Individual transactions, account numbers, and balances are never saved anywhere.
Encrypted, and unreadable at rest
The moment your summary is stored, it is encrypted. If our database were ever breached, there would be nothing to read - no reports, no statements, nothing sensitive sitting in the clear.
Nothing to forward, nothing to leak
Your report is not a file or a link drifting around inboxes. It lives inside the single application you submit - seen by one landlord, and nowhere else.
No PDFs, no screenshots, no forgeries
There is nothing to download, edit, or fake. Every figure comes straight from your bank through regulated open banking, so landlords get proof they can actually trust.
You are always in control
Nothing is shared unless you choose to apply. Disconnect your bank or erase your account and all its data, any time, straight from your dashboard.
Bank connections use regulated open banking
We connect to your bank through the same regulated open banking infrastructure used by major European financial apps. You log in directly through your bank's own website or app - we never see your banking password or login details.
Secure sign-in, no passwords
TrastFul uses passwordless sign-in: a one-time link sent to your email, valid for 15 minutes. There is no password to steal or forget. Your session is stored securely and expires automatically when inactive.
Always served over a secure connection
All communication between your browser and TrastFul is encrypted in transit. The platform is hosted on Vercel's global infrastructure with automatic security updates and DDoS protection built in.
